DELAND, FL.After an accident involving a trailer in DeLand on Sunday, a 71-year-old woman passed away from her wounds.
According to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office, the event took place in a garage close to Lake Beresford on Hontoon Road.

According to deputies, a trailer door’s cable broke, causing the door to fall on the woman unexpectedly and strike her skull.
According to the sheriff’s office, her husband attempted to raise the door by hand before using a car jack to do so and release her. However, they claimed that she died because her injuries were too great.
