I am ticked
off at home owners and landscapes who plant exotic plants! Florida needs native plants; once established native plants require less water than exotic plants and they attract insects that feed birds and other creatures. Your yard does not need to resemble a sterile English garden. Plant native plants to help our environment and the creatures who depend on it. Exotic plants not only need more water, but they can invade the landscape and crowd out, even kill, Florida native plant species. Go native. Help conserve water and the native habitat that nourishes wildlife.
I agree it
is correct to ask “where are you” as opposed to “where are you at?” When I was a child my mother would answer “between the A and the T!” I said the same to my boys (now grown) and they got it!
I am ticked
off that the majority of my taxes are spent on Public Safety in Seminole County. We should not need to spend that much on the Police. Seems we are surrounded by criminals on all sides. How is it that criminals demand so much of our efforts and money? I know that we shouldn’t sacrifice freedom for safety, but maybe we should, a bit, for the sake of getting our monies worth. Why not take Traffic Enforcement away from those who do not perform it, create a Fifth Estate to take it over, start making money through enforcement, and let the bad drivers pay high insurance rates, instead of everyone? Lets face it, the LEOs are doing just enough to ensure that crime is still overwhelming and they can continue to ask for more and more of our money. How many assault on your constituents vehicles do the LEOs need?
