WASHINGTON (AP) — As the U.S. leader has started to increase his pressure on the Israeli government to broker a ceasefire and hostage agreement and end the war in Gaza, President Donald Trump will welcome Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the White House for talks next Monday, according to a U.S. administration official.

The official spoke on condition of anonymity and was not permitted to make any public comments regarding the visit, which has not yet been formally confirmed.
