LONDODespite suffering a right elbow injury in a fall and losing the opening two sets on Monday night, Jannik Sinnerad progressed to the Wimbledon quarterfinals when Grigor Dimitrov, his opponent, had to retire due to a pectoral muscle injury.
Prior to losing 6-3, 7-5 to No. 19 seed Dimitrov, Sinner had not lost a set in the event. In the third set, however, Dimitrov quit playing at 2-all.
