New information regarding the upcoming nighttime parade at Magic Kingdom theme park has been confirmed by Walt Disney World. On July 20, Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away makes its debut.
The parade will begin on Main Street and return to Frontierland between 9 and 11 p.m., which is the opposite of how Magic Kingdom parades typically proceed. The official Disney Parks Blog claims that this will improve the flow of guests at the conclusion of the evening.
The directional adjustment may separate that crowd from others departing Magic Kingdom for the evening because it will be close to the park’s closing time and some Disney fans have a tendency to walk behind the last float in parades.
Additionally, Disney stated that Starlight will not take place on event nights for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, an after-hours, premium event featuring a parade. Not-So-Scary takes place on a few nights from August 15 to October 31.

Since the announcement at D23 Expo in August, the business has very slowly given parade facts.
Mickey and Minnie Mouse will be on the last float, and the Blue Fairy will serve as the parade’s through line and guiding light. Peter Pan, Wendy, Asha, Mirabel, Isabela, Bruno, Elsa, Aurora, Tiana, Cinderella, Jasmine, Rapunzel, Belle, Beast, Prince Phillip, Prince Naveen, Prince Charming, Aladdin, Miguel, Moana, and more will be among the other characters included in Starlight.
According to social media posts, new music was recorded in London, performer rehearsals have begun in Florida, and work on parade floats has been completed in New York and California.
The Magic Kingdom’s first nighttime parade since the Main Street Electrical Parade’s final run in 2016 will be Starlight.
Disney World changed the passholder reservation restrictions because to the anticipated demand for the new parade. Annual pass holders will need to make daily park-specific reservations for the Magic Kingdom as of July 20. Disney claims that this is only available for a short period of time and that park reservations are not required for visitors to Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom on any day after 2:00 p.m.
