ORLANDO, FL.According to the Metropolitan Bureau of Investigation, an Orlando lady was detained after applying Endolaser to a customer’s double chin area without a medical license.
Investigators stated in an affidavit obtained by News 6 that on April 16, 2024, the 29-year-old woman, identified as Gabriela Pereira, was doing the surgery at Tonya Beauty in Orlando.

However, investigators noted that the woman sustained burns during the surgery as a result of the laser remaining on her chin area for an extended period of time, which caused a blister and necrosis.
As a result, Pereira saw the customer a total of eight times afterward to try to treat the damage all the while posing as though she were indeed medically licensed, per detectives.
According to the affidavit, Pereira offered the procedures in return for (the patient) consenting to Tonya Beauty using her images as a model on the internet.
Investigators also said that the patient learned about the clinic from its internet reputation.

The testimony goes on to say that Tonya Beauty is a highly well-liked facility among Brazilians, and many singers and actors travel from Brazil to have procedures done there. They have acquired the trust of Brazilians for cosmetic treatments in the United States and are highly popular on social media, particularly Instagram.
The affidavit for an arrest warrant was submitted on July 29 after an inquiry.
