And with the verbal commitment of three-star cornerback Amion Queen, UCF added another member to its recruiting class for 2026.
On Wednesday, Queen made his choice public on social media.
At Martin County High in Stuart, the 6-foot-1, 185-pound Queen excelled in both wide receiver and defensive back. He contributed 413 receiving yards and 23 tackles, three interceptions, and five passes defended during the previous season.
Queen’s commitment makes him the third defensive back and the thirteenth member of the Knights’ recruiting class, after safety Ja Cari Jackson from Olympia and cornerback Elijah Keys from Duncan U. Fletcher. According to 247Sports’ most recent composite rankings, he is presently listed as the 156th cornerback in the country and the 189th player in Florida.
Queen received offers from a number of universities before choosing UCF, including Purdue, Michigan State, FAU, Pittsburgh, Arkansas, Florida, and USF. On June 13, he made his official visit.
Although verbal agreements are not legally binding, they may be formalized during the December early signing period.
