Florida’s Marion County.The Florida Highway Patrol reports that a three-vehicle collision in Marion County on Saturday morning claimed the life of a 66-year-old biker.
Around eight in the morning, according to troopers, the collision occurred at U.S. 441 and NE 223rd Street.

A motorbike was riding north on U.S. 441 in the outer lane, north of NW 223rd Street, according to a crash report.

Troopers said that an SUV was following the motorcyclist in the outside lane heading north on U.S. 441.
Furthermore, a second SUV was following the first SUV in the outer lane heading north on U.S. 441.
The crash report states that the biker flipped, went in a different direction to the northwest, and then collided with the first SUV’s undercarriage and the second SUV’s right side.
According to troopers, the second SUV then veered off the road to the right and collided with a barrier.
In the outside lane, facing west, the motorcycle finally came to a stop. The FHP did not reveal if the 66-year-old Ocala man who was killed in the collision passed away at the scene or in the hospital.
According to the crash report, there were no other injuries.
